Rotational Sunday School
We have a rotational Sunday School for children from 1st to 5th grades. Each week our kids rotate to one of four activities creating more interest for the kids and less work for our volunteers. It starts at 9:45 and ends at 11:15 each week.
Our Middle and High School ages, like our adult classes are not rotational.
Grays Chapel is a Safe Sanctuary congregation
When the crowd tried to keep the children away from Jesus, he was quick to respond, "Let the children come to me." Jesus taught that children were to be included and provided for within the community of faith. Today, the church may be the only place where some children find the unconditional love and care they so desperately need to grow and thrive. As Christians, we must take our responsibilities to our children very seriously. Therefore, all staff, teachers and volunteers who minister with children or youth must comply with Grays Chapel UMC's Safe Santuary Policy. Volnteers must have been a participant in the church for a minimum of one year, are over the age of 18, have had background screening, and been through a Safe Sanctuary orientation. For more information on our Safe Sanctuary policy please see the display outside the church offices or contact the church office.
