I want to welcome you to Grays Chapel United Methodist Church's website. Several years ago a prophetic word was given to our church that God's Spirit would burn so brightly that people would come from miles around just to see us burn. Today that word has come to pass. Weekly we are seeing how God is pouring out His presence among us. Signs, wonders, and miracles are letting us know that Jesus is Lord. It is as Jesus said to his disciples, "The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have (skin diseases) are cured, the deaf hear... and the good news is preached to the poor." (Luke 7:20)
Worship is at the heart of what makes our church function. Weekly there is dynamic worship where we are ushered into God's presence in an environment of love. Messages are relevant and focused on how we can all respond to God in our lives. Beyond worship we are focused on reaching searchers, growing believers, and changing our world as we minister to those looking for hope in a world that seems to be losing hope.
Please let this be my invitation to join us in worship and ministry. Grays Chapel will love you just the way you are and will journey with you to where God wants you to be. If you are a member of another congregation we hope that Grays Chapel can serve as "a watering hole" in your life. Our desire is not to "shift sheep" from other churches but to nourish believers so they can return with renewed strength to their home church. If you do not have a church home we welcome you to explore if Grays Chapel is the place for you. I believe you will find this to be a place where you can find your purpose in life and use your spiritual gifts to minister to others.
